Drishti is a Sanskrit term that refers to vision, or a gazing technique used to encourage inner awareness and concentration.
Drishti Photography began as part of my final yoga teacher training assessment with Breathing Space Yoga. Combining my love of photography, my desire to learn how to capture what my eye could see, and my passion for yoga, I set out to photograph others’ personal yoga practice. Sometimes the asana (physical practice of yoga) was the object of my attention, and sometimes a happy, contented, yogic lifestyle shone through.
